BIMaking is integrating VR hardware such as Oculus with BIM software. This will allow Clients to truly understand the spatial qualities of the project. This is where VR will come into its own. As an immersive technology, it will transport Client into a fully interactive 3D environment, allowing them to explore a virtual representation of a particular room, floor, or building design as a whole.
Augmented Reality (AR) is an overlay of computer generated content on the real world that can superficially interact with the environment in real-time. With AR, there is no occlusion between CG content and the real-world.
Mixed Reality (MR) removes the boundaries between real and virtual interaction via occlusion. Occlusion means the computer-generated objects can be visibly obscured by objects in the physical environment.
