BIMaking Engineering has developed a seamless procedure with which a federated BIM model can be visualised and interrogated.
The procedure will be composed by a set of tools that can help and guide BIM Managers to translate data from different disciplines, the output will be a set of levels sharing the same BIM model but with different visualisations modes: Construction, Architectural, Sustainability.
Within the Construction visualisation mode, the user can review and monitor the Construction Programme, the user will be able to explore the construction site as the buildings are erected.
The Architectural Visualisation will incorporate information regarding finishes, lighting and fittings. While freely exploring the model the user can appreciate the spatial and material qualities of the proposed design.
In Sustainability visualisation mode, the model can be displayed to convey information about the energy performance of the buildings and in doing so explain how the project meets energy accreditations criteria.
